With Easter around the corner, thoughts of baskets, chocolate bunnies and decorated eggs come to mind. If you have been laying out the same decorations for this holiday for more years than you care to remember, then make a change. There are so many easily accessible ideas, with instructions to accompany them on the internet that the only hurdles to anticipate are how to narrow down the choices.

I personally have had it with the store bought prefabricated egg colouring kits. So, I have promised myself and my daughters that we are going to do something more exciting this year. We are holding a mini competition to see who can make get the most inventive with the decorating of Easter eggs. The sky is the limit, and anything goes this time. I expect that this will create more of a buzz for our annual Easter egg hunt, but am resigned to the fact that I will still be left with dozens of eggs that do not get eaten in a timely manner.
