During the holiday season many of us will have a ton of people making use of our bathrooms. As such it should not be a room that is ignored, it too should have delightful details and pleasant gestures within. This is no time to shut the door, and hope nobody notices that the bathroom is the one place you never fully decorated, or put any thought into. Friends, family, neighbours, and other visitors will be sticking around long enough to be expected to enter, and use this area. Skip the embarrassment of not having things in order.

To do things right, you need more than to just keep it impeccably clean. Though that is imperative too. Nice touches like decorative soaps, beautiful handtowels, and scented candles will enhance the space. But you need to ensure that the handtowels are hung from a nice holder or bar, that the soaps lie in a lovely dish, and that the candle sit upon a matching container.

But even all of that will not work if you do not complete any projects in progress, or insert bathroom furniture to make things look finished. All too many households leave bathrooms as the last rooms to make perfect. And you know what, that is fine while it is only your immediate family using the facilities. But, during the holidays crunch time is in full swing. Make it a priority, and you and your guests will be happy that you did.
